NailNation Dance Like No One's Around

This was one of my Xmas gifts from @wegotpolish, which I was eyeing last year anyway.  It's a gorgeous blue-toned fuchsia holographic.  It has a strong blue flame.  I think the formula is ok.  I wish it would have had some shimmer that gave it a bit more depth.

Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat

This was very impressive for a drugstore brand.  I like it that it's different from the Essie that I use.  This one is a bit more 'rubbery'.  I tried to capture the 'wet tips' with my camera, but I only succeeded in the shade (last pic).

Ever After Bite Me

This is a modern take on the white holos.  It has a hint of pink and grey.  The shimmer is very inconspicuous, but it can be seen at certain angles, and I believe it gives depth to the polish.  I find this very complex, although my skin tone does not agree with it.  I will have to try this in the summer.

The bonus is that it is a great base color for other white holos.

Broken glass nails with cellophane paper

My dear friend Robyn from @wegotpolish purchased this paper on Michael's.  I wanted to give it a try so I placed it over a white jelly, and I was satisfied with the result, given that it was my first attempt.  This require lots of patience, so I never did my right hand.  Also, I noticed that some of these will lift up, kind of like cheap flakies.  I think it will require practice, and I have a lot of cellophane left to play :)

Chanel Troublante

I'm not too fond of brown nail polish.  However, this has orange, pink and gold!  I rella like this, although it is more of a Fall polish, than Spring, but what do I know?

Cupcake Polish Re-Vamped and Dance Legend Lissome

There wasn't too much sun when I took these pics.  I spent most of my day swatching that day.  I love days like those.  I really like this teal from Cupcake.  It makes the perfect pedicure color.  This was the last mani of the day, and it took me probably 1 hour and 5 coats of topcoat to get that Dance Legend to be smooth.  Good thing I was wearing my NPB peel off basecoat, because the next day removal was a breeze.  I cannot do certain big glitters like this, because my nails are too curved.

Baroness X Dulcinea

This was a gift from my friend K.  I am so out of the loop lately with indie polishes.  Thank God for friends!

This is a very special polish, as it has both the duochrome flakies and shimmer/glitter (similar to 230).  I was mesmerized by this polish.  I did have to do 3 coats just because I could not get enough of the flakies.  They have an interesting iridescence,  They are a little bit big, I will admit.  Somewhat green too, but St. Patty's day is coming soon, so why not.

Layering Order:

Urban Outfitters Westside

I rarely wear orange.  This is almost as rarely as wearing green for me.  However, when I do, it has to be a spectacular mani.  I was going to add some neon glitter to this, but this looks great --and deserves a post-- by itself.

I got so many compliments on this mani.  It is perfect for a sunny day.  If you have a UO store near by, try to get this one, because it is worth every penny.  It is one of those rare neons that is easy to apply too!
