Vintage Gown is described as a rust with a hint of pink. It is a perfect description. It looked more like a dark beige on me. It has a little bit of hidden gold shimmer in it.
Taupe Notch is a sophisticated grey, I really liked the color on this one, but Barielle has always done awesome greys (see here and here), so I was not surprised at all to see this gorgeous grey added to their Fall Collection.
The purple one was perfection, but if you read my blog, you know that I'm very biased, because I love purple. Soho at Night was more of a crelly and it required three coats. I loved the way that they muted this purple for Fall, but somehow kept it vibrant. This feels like the grown up version of Grape Escape, which is one of my favorite purple cremes.
Boho Chic is the one for green lovers. I don't wear too many greens, but this one is really pretty and does not lean teal on me, it has an Autumn feeling to it that goes well with the collection.
The dark navy blue is another crellyish nail polish. Like Soho at Night, it also required three coats, but the color is really rich and interesting. I think that the three coats add a nice depth to it. Moda Bleu is very dark, but not indigo as it seemed from the bottle. I thought that it was going to lean more purple, but I was a bit disappointed to see it so blue on my nails. I'll have to try two coats next time.
Berry Posh is the only one that is a bit daring for a Fall color. I would have loved to see a pumpkin orange instead. I'd say that this pink could have been better in the Summer. It is vey warm fuchsia with a red tint.
All of these swatches were done without topcoat, and they all turned out nice and glossy, because of the quality of the nail polishes.
