TGIF! Today is a perfect day to show you the newest Barielle
Collection. Barefoot in Bermuda is a
creamy yellow-toned pink. It reminds me
of Tom Ford's Indian Pink, and a couple of Diors I own. It looks and feels high end, although the formula for
this one was on the watery side,. This was closer to
my taste, because the last collection was too thick for me. Topless in St. Tropez is an adorable peach
cream that leans to pink, instead of orange.
I like this one a lot, it has a secret shimmer and the formula is
fantastic. Panama Pina Colada is the
first two-coater yellow that I have encountered in my life; and believe me, I've swatched a
lot of yellows since I've been blogging.
This one is a keeper, great formula.
It looks like it would have a lime-green tint, from looking at the bottle, but once
on the nails, it’s just yellow, as the pictures show. This one could benefit from basecoat and
topcoat, and although I didn’t use any here, it was still great, for a yellow creme. Paradise in the Tropics was another pink,
this one is more red-toned, but not at all fuchsia (as described). Hawaiian
Sunset is the star of the collection. I
don’t like oranges too much, but this is an epic one. It has lots of golden shimmer throughout and
it is perfect in application, color and finish.
Love it, and highly recommend. I
don’t have anything like it, nor have I seen anything like it. Finally, Miami Heat is a true red jelly,
which is very similar to OPI Coca-Cola Red, except it lacks the neon effect. I like both, but I don’t mind VNL, which Miami Heat shows a bit. I think a third coat would take care of that, either way. Overall, awesome Summer collection. Love the tropical theme and the pedi-ready
colors. My only complaint is that,
Barefoot in Bermuda and Paradise in the Tropics were too close to each other,
in color.
