I'm not going to lie to you, this was a PITA (for internationals: very difficult) to apply, but once I added some thinner, well, a lot of it, it was good to go. For some reason, these new flakies are on the thick side, but so worth the extra step. I like the way it looks in the shade the most. Sea Moss Opal is part of the newest collection from DDP; they have so many colors, check them out here. This is a somewhat sheer green that is filled with iridescent flakies and glitters. They lay flat on the nail, so that's a plus, it's not like those mylar flakies that seem bumpy. The only thing I noticed is that sometimes they will stick out of the edge and you just have to kind of even that out. I like this green for the holidays, it has random blue flecks and it is a nice deep color that can be used as a base for layering red glitters, and making it more festive.

Wow, this polish is so pretty! I would definitely not care about having to add thinner, if this was the end result. I just love that red glitter too! It's such a cute look. It's totally perfect for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't mind adding thinner either. I find that I have to add thinner to most of my indies anyway, it's a given.
