Today I bring you 4 out of 6 from the newest Literary Lacquers Collection: Green Gables, inspired by Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Marilla's Amethyst Brooch is a creamy lilac with a stunning shimmer. This one was tricky to apply, I thought it wasn't going to self level, or remain patchy, but at the third coat it was perfect, and very sparkly. Raspberry Cordial? on the other hand, applied like a dream. This one blew my mind. It is a linear jelly holographic (similar to Enchanted Polish Sprinkled), semi-neon and with tiny holographic glitters. Simply stunning, I like nail polishes like this that have it all. My pictures of Raspberry Cordial? don't do it justice, this is one of those that is a million times better in real life. Anne With an E was a bit sparse for my liking, it is a great concept, but I felt that it was missing something. This one is a iridescent and silver glitter topper. The application was ok. The Lake of Shining Waters is decribed as a murky teal linear holo, but there's nothing murky about this one. It glows! It is very special, a teal linear holographic, great at three coats and it applied like butter. I've seen swatches of the other two, Green Gables (here) and Carrots Carrots (here) and I must say the whole collection seems worthy to pick up as a set. She is currently having a special of $55 for the set, when normally they are $10 each. I love her creations and these are no exception.
