After seeing the
Swatchaholic's post, I knew I had to have this (untrieds month what happened to you?) *ahem* So anyway, I ordered from
Llarowe, which by the way sent super fast this time around, woot woot. When I received it, I thought to myself this is exactly like
OPI DS Glamour, so I took my lamp and did a quick comp for you guys. It's not "exactly" like
Glamour, but the shade is a dead on dupe. The main difference is that this is a 3-coater, whereas
Glamour is a 2-coater. Secondly, not sure if it's obvious from the pics, but it has silver holographic microglitter, meh I'm not too crazy about this feature. That being said, I purchased Lydia too, which I will post tomorrow, and I love the microglitter in it. Why? no idea. On a final note, Eve has a little bit (just a tiny bit, only visible through the eyes of of a nail polish
addict collector like me, probably) a little bit less of a rainbow than
Glamour. In my eyes,
Glamour has a stronger holographic effect. The formula of both NailNation lacquers was great, but I do have to complain about the size of the bottle (
see comp. pic), and at 3-coats? it's a bit pricey. However, the quality is well worth it, I know my holos and this is one of the good ones.
Layering Order:
3 coats NailNation 3000 Eve #403 (pinky & middle)
2 coats OPI Designer Series Glamour (ring and index)
no basecoat or topcoat in these pictures
They do look very similar.
ReplyDeleteYeap, they are almost dupes!
