Hey lovelies! Thank you for all the comments in the Incoco Halloween post, the Incoco Giveaway has ended by the way, I've e-mailed all the winners already. Today I have a review post, and I would love it if you can keep the comments going on this one too. If you have tried NailPatternBoldness Glitter Food, please let me know your thoughts. This is a product that is meant to be a muti-tasker. The first time I tried it was for sunken glitter, and it worked wonders. Or you know how sometimes you just want to dilute glitter nail polish but don't want to use thinner? this is perfect for that too. Candeo Sour Grapes and OPI Rainbow Connection were amongst the ones that were restored thanks to Glitter Food, but I've fixed several with it, I just don't remember the names. I am actually on my second bottle of this, this stuff is amazing for restoring glittery nail polish. If you are like me and own a lot of glittery nail polishes, trust me, you need this. Great for frankening as well, I can't believe they don't mention that in the description. As a topcoat, for "thirsty" glitters, it is good for some, but not for all nail polishes. This purpose is the one that I am showing you here today. It covered the glitter bomb, as you can see, to avoid a sand paper (gritty) finish on this combo. It did need a fast drying topcoat though, because it does take a while to dry and it is not glossy by itself. Definitely good to smooth out glitters, but you need to try it on one nail first, so that you can determine if it will work out or not. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well for all layering combinations. It will shrink depending on the base and amount of glitter you have on. If you check out the last pictures of P&P Witchy Woman on this post, the ones that say "BONUS PICTURES - Pretty & Polished Witchy Woman by itself at two coats topped with NPB Glitter Food", you can tell the shrinkage that occurred there. Finally, as an "aqua base" for holographics, it is a good substitute for regular basecoat, but I prefer the Nfu Oh instead, since it dries faster. I'd love to hear your experiences with Glitter Food, please comment below :) Oh, I didn't talk about the nail polish used for this review. This is one of my favorite indie mixes, also made by NailPatternBoldness. Ignition, is hard to photograph, because the glitters that look blue here are actually a really nice shade of violet in real life. This multicolored glitter goes well over almost anything. They are your basic hexagons in a clear base, but the color combination has a happy vibe to it. Super sparkly and fun!
