Clarins 230 by itself

Scrangie's post got me thinking, I haven't worn 230 by itself in a while.  I love layering, but sometimes it's nice to do things differently.  That being said, I like it better over my favorite purples.









Layering Order:
Butter London Nail Foundation (to avoid VNL)
3 coats Clarins 230
Barielle Manicure Extender

    Seriously - Its like our brains or connected or something, I just worn 230 on it's own two days ago. It looks stunning on you, and it's nice to see this on it's own sometimes too.

    I'm lucky enough to have this beauty in my collection.

    I like to wear it alone because I just want the real thing ! I made a swatch here : http://lavieenface.com/2012/06/24/swatch-clarins-230-le-vernis-legendaire/

    However, I'd like to layer it on light colors such as lavender ou pale pink. I think it could be less edgy than layered on dark colors, but it could be more "delicate" looking.

    Have you tried it on light colors ?
