The glitter in this is awesome! the good part is that it's very thin, and not gritty at all (like regular glitter nail polish), but the downside is that, it is so thin, that it is not too easy to apply. I broke the first couple of appliques trying to get it right, but then it was all good. I suggest trying on one nail first with a size that you know you will not use, in case it breaks. But this is what makes them so clean looking, the fact that they are so delicate. The Incoco sets also come with two colorless appliques to practice, which is why I love them.
This color is so pretty, but it never dried on me, then I added topcoat and it bubbled a bit, such a shame. I got these stickers at a random Beauty Supply store, a while ago, I wish I would have gotten more. I received a few comments on this manicure, from grown-ups like me ^.^

Sometimes I forget to file my nails and they grow a bit long, which I don't mind, except that it is harder for me to choose a color to wear. Usually, darker colors don't look good on my nails when they're like this. So I go for the lighter colors, and gold is always a safe bet.
It's been a while since I've done some extreme layering. Today, I thought I'd go back to basics. This one glows so much in real life, and I managed to capture some of the milky goodness in these pictures, then I realized why I take pictures of my layering experiments, and how much I still love it.

You know how hard cheap-o glitters can be to remove sometimes, this Chelsea glitter was one dollar, but very dense and gritty. I would normally remove it with the foil method, but Incoco sent me this jar that smelled great, and I decided to try it. I followed their site instructions: "For easy polish removal, insert finger into one of the three sponge openings, twist and remove. The liquid will condition and moisturize your cuticles and nails while removing old polish", and it worked perfectly. On the fifth picture, you can see that the pink foam doesn't look used up after this (all 10 fingernails), so I think this product is meant to last a while. I timed the whole thing, and it literally takes 80 seconds for the nail polish to be completely removed (this is 3 coats + the tamer which can be hard to remove + basecoat and topcoat). Same time for removal of the Incoco Dry Nail Polish Appliques, 1min20sec. Shown on the last picture, is the nail polish removed halfway, that is what it looks like after 40 seconds have passed. Pretty nifty, the second time I used it, I managed to do this with one hand, I learned to twist the jar with my thumb (with my phone on my lap on stopwatch setting) and I actually typed this as I removed my nail polish.
Are you hungry? I'm always hungry for glitter so let's start the week with a blue glitter sandwich. Before I forget, let me tell you about my love for Barielle brushes, they are the perfect width for my nails, they always hold the right amount of nail polish, plus they are flexible enough to work my way to a perfect application. Every time I use up a bottle of Barielle Manicure Extender I put one of my favorite cremes in it, I've been doing this for a while, and it works like a charm. Now on to the color, I absolutely love this shade of blue, it reminds me of a quiet pool on a warm sunny day. It's almost neon in the sun, but subtle and girly in the shade. It's a perfect two coater, and it's also great for layering over glitters. I also posted this on their Facebook page last week.

Well, I hope you've enjoyed this week. By now, you are probably humming that song Aquarela Do Brasil, love it! I saved the best for last, these come in several other colors, but I picked five only. If you want to see really cool swatches and comparisons of these pretties, click here, here, here, here and here.
I have seen this layering combination in several Brazilian blogs, so I wouldn't know who deserves the credit for this marvelous invention. I absolutely love this. I am thinking it could work with any neon plus holographic topcoat.
These are linear but very subtle, they remind me of the good version of Color Club Worth the Risque. The brush is super tiny, and that makes the application hard, especially for this type of holographic nail polish. But overall, the colors are lovely.

Olá meninas! I love it when I read that, Brazilian blogs have a really cute way of saying "hello girls" to their readers. The duo-chrome effect on this one is not as strong as the Ludurana Aurora Boreal, but I liked the finish and color.
