This was the only nail polish I liked from the Gem Crush collection, the other ones seem too unoriginal, and to be honest a bit pricey for a drugstore nail polish. Plus they have 0.31 fluid ounces, while the regular ones are 0.5, ok I know I am being stingy, but the bottle is deceiving because it's huge! [end mini rant] Also, I am really liking the Glitter Tamer, it makes everything so smooth.
Layering Order:
Nailtek Foundation II
1 coat OPI It's My Year
3 coats Sally Hansen Gem Crush Lady Luck (tips)
Glitter Tamer
Butter London Hardwear
very nice - is nailtek foundation ii any good?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the glitter. I haven't tried a gradient. That may need to go on my to do list.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I tend to agree about the Gems collection, dupey to many other polishes out there right now =)
ReplyDeleteOoh I saw the Gem Crush collection recently but I passed since I've been bad lately and should exercise some self-restraint. Although I did really want the one that looks like Lorelei's Tiara from the ChG Eye Candy collection. Maybe I'll go back and snatch it...
ReplyDelete@ Nail Polish Anon: as a ridgefiller yes, but on me any coat (or coats) of nail polish that I add on top are going to take longer to dry. And also, you have to use topcoat if you're using a one-coater, because it turns the nail polish dull on the first layer.
ReplyDelete@ Kaki: it feels weird at first (polishing half of the nail) but the overall result makes it worth it.
@ Deez Nails: thank you!
@ Jacqui: yeah, when I first saw the display I thought OMG glitter, then I took a closer look and I was like Oh I already have these.
@ Laura: You get more bang from your buck if you just get the China Glaze one though. And their formula is better.
very cute 0___0
