Fairy Dust Powder and Swarovski Crystals over Emily de Molly Not This Day

I am not buying too much indies lately, as I am focusing more on nail art, rather than polish.  However, I was browsing the EdM website and came across Not This Day, and instantly fell in love.  Little did I know that it was going to be such a magical polish by itself, and for my layering experiments.

My friend Robyn recently discovered this nice online shop called Ocean Nail Supply on IG.  They sell tons of crystals.  They also had this thing called fairy dust, which to me, is the new 230.  The 'unicorn powder' for gel nail nail polish.

I stalked their website until I found it and pulled the trigger on some Swarovski crystals as well.  They shipped fast, and I was happy with what I got.  I watched a couple of videos online, and even went to a salon that uses this powder to get a pedi, to make sure that I got the technique down, and it is really easy to use.

It gives the nails an iridescent and duochrome look that is out of this world, which I have yet to see it in "regular" polish.  This loose shimmer actually melts in the presence of "regular" topcoat, sadly.  This is more noticeable over cremes, which I did not use here, but I plan to do a follow up post.  Loved this mani and wore it for 3 days.
