SV Pinky and the Jelly, SV Insert Grape Pun, SV 3LB, SV Still a Better Love Story, SV Seriously, Staupe, and SV With All Due Respect

The new SV Frankies are here, they are my small batch/LE creations that will launch 3/6/15 at 1:00 p.m. PST.  Pinky and the Jelly made an appearance on the last restock, but it was quickly gone.  This is a jellicious purple with holographic dust and pink flakies.  The flakies sink to the bottom, so I had to give it a good shake before applying.

Insert Grape Pun is really pretty IRL.  However, it is really high maintenance.  For me, it just seemed like 2 coats of topcoat were not enough to make it shine like I wanted.  It has a lot of shimmer, which makes it matte/velvet.  I love the color too much, so I ended up launching it despite the formula.  The uniqueness of the combo purple with pink flash + green + purple shimmer make it totally worth it for me.

3LB (Three Little Birds) is what I would call a tweety bird yellow holo.  Think of the sun in the middle of the day, shining.  That is what I wanted this color to be.  I didn't want it to lean green or chartreuse, I just wanted it to be basic, without leaning gold or orange wither.  Perfect two coater and unique in my stash.

SV Still a Better Love Story was not going to be part of this launch, but I managed to sneak in a few, as a preview, because I felt like something red and classic was missing.  I like the way this shifts.  It looks playful outside and more cerise and serious indoors.  The shimmer in it, is so gorgeous, violet, pink, and sometimes blue.

The one that was made without a recipe, turned out to be the loudest one: Seriously, Staupe.  This was supposed to be an earthy taupe, but ended up making all of this noise with a strong golden holographic flame.  Just like Lilac Disco Ball, this is a Unique Batch (UB) so it will not be made again, due to the limited availability of the pigments in it.  This one has a rather unique scattered effect and dries super fast.

Finally, the most shimmery one was With All Due Respect.  This was a breeze to make.  My friend Sue asked me to make a green version of Blueberry Fields Forever, and I knew exactly what she meant.  In order to make it Emerald and not teal, I had to use a good amount of yellow pigment, so when I applied it on the nail the first time, I was a bit shocked--I wanted teal.  However, Sue wanted green.  So I had to compromise, and it ended up being a three coater, in order for it to shine like it does, and for it to look emerald and classy, without any blue undertones.
