Colors by Llarowe Obsession is a perfect color for Halloween

I know it sounds cliche but, where did this month go?

I had to refresh and be really quick for this color.  It was a limited edition shade and a bit hard to obtain.  As soon as I swatched it, I knew it would be perfect for a Halloween mani.  It's a violet/burgundy with golden hues.  The shift is a bit on the olive side, but it's still gorgeous.  It is lso holographic and has a pink flas, right up my alley.  This is the first duochrome that I've seen, that shifts to black.

I wanted to pair it up with something else, but I knew that a gradient or a glitter was going to overshadow the duochrome effect.  I thought it would look great with orange.  Not sure what this is guys, maybe the guts from a pumpkin or pumpkin jam, but I felt artsy and didn't want to use the common gruesome red to simulate dripping blood.

Layering Order:
2 coats Colors by Llarowe Woman From Tokyo (base)
2 coats Colors by Llarowe Obsession (tips only)
Barielle Hawaiian Sunset (middle)
Dior Gel Coat
