Enchanted Amazing and Flashing Lights Comparisons

I don't wear Enchanted anymore, but these are some quick swatches that I offered to do for my friends who do wear EP.  I think the names are a bit unoriginal TBH.  Amazing sounds too close to Amazeballs and Flashing Lights already exists (from Serum No. 5).  Aside from that, I think the silver flakies have been done by lots of indies, including Lacquistry and Indigo Bananas so nothing new there.  Except maybe for the fact that this one has a bit of holographic shimmer, but then again I found one in my stash from Glittering Elements that also has it.  Flashing Lights was more original, because it's holographic silver and holographic gold microglitter, done the right way.  I really liked this one, but the holo effect is only noticeable if you really look at the nail and move it around and search for that rainbow.  Otherwise, I think that if you have a gold holo microglitter already, you don't need this.

    1. Yeah I used to wear Silver Sands as a topper, until I got over it

  2. Don't you sometimes just want to rename beautiful polishes with silly or underwhelming names?? I'm always tempted, but it would get so confusing :) Just out of curiosity, why do you not wear Enchanted anymore? I mean, there's the obvious reason of expense and inconvenience (it's just way too intense and competitive for me; the polishes are beautiful, but there are tons of indies out there making just as beautiful, just as inspired lacquers that are less expensive and much much easier to acquire), but just the way you say it reminds me of the Lynnderella incident... :P

    1. I just don't agree with some of the business practices. Therefore, I don't support EP anymore. I'll spend my money elsewhere :)
