OPI Little Bits of Neon stripes over beige

Practice makes (almost) perfect.  I used the technique that I was talking about on Friday, and I definitely have crisp lines now.  I was actually inspired by the package of the OPI minis, which says that neons and beiges are the new thing.  I started with 2 coats of my frankened Butter London Nail Foundation/Orly Ridgefiller Primer (50:50 mix), and then used Seche Vite to let it dry.  I was going to apply beige, but it seemed fine like that.  I really liked how this turned out, but I have to confess that I never got to my right hand.  By the time I finished with this on my swatching hand, I just did skittles on my right hand and went to bed, because I was too tired.  I still need more practice to master both hands.  I am ok with these new neons, but the only one with a good formula was the green one.  Again, I don't know why OPI doesn't include agitators (ballz) in their minis.  I guess I'll have to add them, plus some thinner, because these are goopy city.

Layering Order:

  1. A very nice looking mani. I like your stripes. I love the concept of the mini polishes but they are so impractical that I would rather pay more and get full size even if I don't use it all, than to have to struggle with the mini brush, the gloppy polish, and the need for a bb to mix it too.

    1. I think that's why companies make them like that, so that you have to get the full size! Haha

  2. Awww...so cute!!! Love the colors used for it looks so festive. Sad to know that only the green one is the good one thought they were all okay.

  3. Wow this is such a cool idea for the neons! I really liked the look of them and bought the mini set. Only tried Juice Bar Hopping and really like it. I found the formula to be really good and I didn't use a white base - I was happy with the finish and the look! It was so bright hehe :-)
