Dance Legend Optical Illusion is a gorgeous cherry holographic

This is very similar to OPI DS Exclusive, but the holographic effect is different.  The flame on this one is really nice, they are like the China Glaze OMGs, but stronger.  I called it cherry because there are some purple undertones in there.  It is definitely more pink toned than Enchanted Mr. Burgundy.  I like them all because they are different and must haves in my book.

Love Thy Polish Royalty a lovely glittery violet jelly

I had never heard of this brand before.  I loved the formula of Royalty, it's so perfect for a jelly.  This shade of purple is very dark and classy, and the glitter in it was so fine and sparkly.  This was a gift from an Aussie friend (the amazing Claire), and I think this brand only delivers to Australia, but I definitely want to try more.

Pound Of Glitter Purple Holographic Custom

A long time ago I asked the creator of Pound Of Glitter if she would be so kind to make me a custom holographic that would resemble Catrice Dirty Berry, but with a stronger holographic effect.  At the same time I wanted it to have lots of different purple glitters.  The result exceeded my expectations.  I e-mailed her again this weekend asking if it was ok to post my custom and let my readers know that they can order their own customs as well :)  She also makes some awesome nail polish jewelry, like these cute earrings (OMG) so  please do check it out.  Lastly, I hope you guys didn't miss yesterday's post, it was Pound Of Glitter's newest collection.

Pound Of Glitter The Staycation Collection

Disclosure

Pound Of Glitter is back with a new duos collection.  I started with The AfterGlow, great formula, a little bit on the thick side but the coverage was nice.  If you like gold microshimmer you need this, it's like the pink version of RBL Moxie.  Pink Sky At Night is also packed with gold, and loads of glitter, this was my favorite from the collection because it can be worn alone at two or three coats.  The glitter combination was definitely up my alley, loved it.  The next duo was The Survivors and Blacktop, now both are very unique.  The Survivors had an excellent formula and the color was very original.  I don't own or have seen this color before, for those of you who love greens, maybe I'm wrong, but I find it quite special.  The topper was great and only one coat was needed for the effect shown below.  Poolside was a bit sheer, but I spoke to the owner and she said she was going to make it a two-coater instead.  It goes perfect with The Million Bells, which was rather Springy.  In fact, it was inspired by "beautiful flowers in hanging baskets and planters" that you would usually find "by the calming blue water".  Overall, this collection was interesting, regarding the shimmer, but knowing the past collections (like Grey Matter, which is in stock!!), I was expecting some holographics.  I am hoping that for the next one, she listens to her fans and makes some beauties with that fairy dust that Pound Of Glitter was known for.  That being said, all of the toppers from the duos have amazing holographic microglitter that sparkles in the sun.

Purple Holo Week: LSL Walk On The Wild is a rich violet holographic

Another perfect two-coater, super-strong holographic from LSL.  I love this one so much, that is why I saved it for last (as I mentioned before, I will not be posting on Saturdays for a while), and this is excellent to conclude Purple Holo Week.  Walk On The Wild Side is simply stunning.  Unfortunately, it seems it sold out at their website, this is why I highly recommend that you follow them on Facebook if you want to learn about restock dates, which in my experience have been mostly Saturdays.  This violet holographic fulfilled my expectations and more, and it has that same quality that Sugared Berries had, what you see is what you get.

Purple Holo Week: Nail Nation Passionate is the perfect pink-toned purple holographic

Wow, I did not want to take this off.  I think I wore it for two and a half days (and my record is 3), plus neither of my ten nails chipped so there was really no excuse to remove it.  I want ten thousand back ups of this.  It is like the holographic version of Chanel Lilac Sky.  It is the perfect balance between pink and purple, one of those colors that will have you guessing.  Is this pink? it looks pink under this light... is this purple?...  It is a little chameleon and I love colors like these.  I'm usually more into blue-toned purples (or blurples), but this one is definitely a must have if you are a purple holo hoarder like me.

Purple Holo Week: Amy's Purple Prism

I had never heard of this Etsy store until my friend sent me a couple of Amy's pretties and I thought they were reasonably-priced holographics.  Cute bottles too.  The only problem I had with them is that they are sheer and require four coats.  The effect is very nice, it reminded me of the Literary Lacquers holos.  This was very close to Enchanted Polish April 2013 (I've included a quick comparison below), which was also a 4-coater.  The only difference is that Purple Prism is a bit more vibrant.  The flame is exactly the same, and they are very similar in the shade.  I don't know if any of these are must haves, I feel like there are so many purple holos out there that are better or have much more going on.
