Nails Inc Pinkie Pink for BCA

Another gift from my friend Sue.  I am kicking myself for waiting so long to try this.  It's so amazing.  This has a really bad formula because it's too packed with glitter (it's almost a one coater), but the color is so stunning.  I might add some suspension base to tweak it.  It looks like a regular pink glitter, but trust me, it's totally unique.  I have never seen this shade before.  It almost glows, and although it's not holographic, it is super sparkly, and you can tell that the glitter is of very good quality.    If you live in the UK and like pink, I highly suggest you get this one <3  On another note, related to this post I guess, what will happen to us nail polish junkies who love international nail polishes, with regards to UK lacquers?  or "nail varinsh" I am seriously worried.  I just checked Nails Inc at Sephora and most of them are sold out :( edit: Pinkie Pink is still there.  I also just read what Models Own posted on their Facebook page and it makes me really sad, they just cancelled all international shipping until further notice.

Serum No. 5 SS13 Collection (Part 1)

SS13 is the newest Spring Collection from Serum No. 5, and I heard there will be more added to the line, so this is a preview that I will call part one.  The names of these lacquers scream spring, and the palette is very appropriate for the season.  Pink Peonies is an easy to apply crelly, that has a gorgeous shimmer and a beautiful combination of glitters.  This is like a jelly sandwich in a bottle, love it.  Heartbreaker is shown over Pink Peonies, but I had previously swatched/reviewed it over red here.  April Showers is really, really sheer.  I'm not sure if this is a topper, perhaps for those cremes that you want to transform, to make them have a pearly finish?  I have swatched it over white so that you can see what if looks like on the bottle.  It has iridescent squares, but they get lost in the base, the pearly squares and hexagons are the most noticeable ones.  Poppy Fields is a gorgeous red jelly, and best of all it has gold round glitter.  Some of the larger red hexagons and squares have reflective curling, I have notified this to the owner and she said she was going to add this to the description.  You can judge by the pictures that it is not too evident, but you know me, I had to mention it.  Finally, May Flowers, is the cutest thing ever.  An amazing combination of pink, white and green glitters (a bold and unique look).  It has yellow flowers and silver holographic butterflies.  I did have to fish around for a couple of nails, but nothing too time consuming.  All the colors are pretty in their own way, I'm still very in love with Heartbreaker, so I think this is my favorite, until I find a good base color for May Flowers.  But, looking back at the pictures, if you are getting Hearbreaker, I think you need Pink Peonies as well, just because they make such a perfect combo.  This collection will be available this Friday, March 1st at 10 a.m.

Enchanted Polish Halo is a little chameleon

This looks white, blue, lilac or grey depending on the light.  My favorite was lilac, in the shade.  This has a very faint holographic shimmer, that if you squint you can call it linear.  I wasn't too crazy about the formula, since it was a fifteen-dollar nail polish, I guess I expected butter.  Remember yesterday? when I was talking about refreshing, well this is a product of that.  It was super fun trying to score this one at Enchanted.

Spectrum Sour Grapes is a true beauty

This is the result of a night on Etsy, and out of boredom typing "purple nail polish" on the search bar.  It is amazing, I did not want to take it off after two days.  It looks so pretty in every single light.  Definitely as described; ironically, I captured the green much better with the phone camera (3rd pic, craptastic!).  I already loved it right after I applied it, but then I appreciated it even more when I saw the duochrome effect; I did manage to capture the pink shift in this twitter pic.  I'm loving this on my new nubbins, but can't wait to wear it again on longer nails.
