Illamasqua Pink Raindrops is a pale pink creme with small white flakies

To say that this is a huge disappointment is an understatement.  This was supposed to be the pink counterpart to Raindrops.  However, it is very far from the expectations we all had.  Or I had, I'll speak for myself.  First of all this is not a jelly, which is what makes Raindrops so special.  Yes, it is a two-coater, but the formula is borderline white toothpaste.  It's not glossy at all, it requires a couple of coats of topcoat and to be honest the flakies are a little bit bumpy.  The only thing that I like about this nail polish is the pink microshimmer that is reminiscent to RBL Poco a Poco.  I don't know if this will grow on me or not, but this just looks like they dumped a bunch of flakies into Jan (another illa).

  2. This is really pretty but I can see why you're disappointed. It doesn't really look all that similar to the original Raindrops.
