Holographics Week: Enchanted Polish Ice Castle & Castle on a Cloud

Both of these look good over black, but after trying several combinations, I'm very happy with the ones I chose for these pictures.  Although, I must stress that these are much better in real life.  They are very hard to photograph.   Ice Castle Shifts from blue to purple and Castle on a Cloud shifts from purple to pink.  If you love color shifting topcoats you need these.  The duochrome effect is amazing, and I could not even begin to capture it with my camera.  Ice Castle is very conspicuous, I mean this is a shade of blue that might not be office appropriate when worn over black.  In dim light, the nails really make a statement.  I loved it but I did take it off after the first day.  I think I need to try it over a more subtle color next time.  If you love strong holographics and purple, I think you need Castle on a Cloud.  In fact, I am considering getting a back up.  No joke, the first time I tried it, I took it off after two days, only to polish again with the same one over another base color.  These show up great at one coat over any opaque color, but darker is preferred for an optimal duochrome effect.  They look great also with more layers, but it might be too metallic for my taste.  I love both because the possibilities are endless.  My favorite feature is watching the rainbows appear as they dry.  Bottom line these two are definitely a must have.  I got these directly from the Enchanted Polish website, I'm not sure if the other retailers will start carrying them.

    1. Hey! sorry, I just fixed it. It's Color Club Beyond (the black holo), it's a great base color for glass-fleck and sheer-shimmery holos :)
