Incoco Says Boo! Halloween 2012 Collection

Ok lovelies! I had to share, I mean look at this cuteness, Glow in the Dark nail appliques:

Sweet! turns out Incoco is bringing us a new Halloween Collection this year, as if last year's wasn't awesome enough :)

This Halloween, Incoco has a bewitching assortment of shades and designs for the season, from wicked green hues to haunting spider web patterns. Make these shades YOUR shades — coordinate with a creepy costume or wear them just for fun!
The must-haves in the collection are two glow-in-the-dark shades — an exciting first for real nail polish appliqués! Spellbound lights up the night with its ghostly glow, and Boo! is a delightfully charming mummy pattern created to spark peek-a-boo attention!

This is the other one that I think is unique from the new collection:

And these are from last year's Halloween Collection (they are still in stock): a candycorn design...

...and a cute orange pumpkins design!  check out Scrangie's swatch here.

Shimmer Stephanie

Another gorgeous blue blend from Shimmer Polish.  This one is packed with sparkly glitters, and it has some small blue hexagons like Liana.  This one is different than Nichole in that it has less red glitter, and it doesn't have that holographic silver that Nicole has.  They all have great formula, honestly Shimmer Polish is very consistent when it comes to formula.  If I had to choose one of these blues, I would choose Liana, although Nichole and Stephanie are great for those holidays when you want to wear red and blue nails, so it's a tough choice.  Bottom line, if you are a blue lover, you have lots to choose from at Shimmer Polish.

Smitten Glass Elevator, I Want It Now and Pure Imagination

Today I have three Smitten Polish swatches for you.  These are made by a fellow blogger that knows a thing or two about nail polish.  Glass Elevator is the cutest one of the bunch, I loved the combination, but it was a bit tricky to apply, I think the brush might be too small for this type of finish.  It's a creamy white with minty glitter.  I Want it Now has a christmasy vibe to it, and I love that it has a jelly finish after topcoat.  It is amazing by itself, but I do want to try it with red hexagons in December.  My hands turned a few heads while wearing this.  Pure Imagination is in the same boat as I Want It Now, a jelly-glitter, it is packed with holographic bits, so the effect is really gorgeous, when you move your hands you can see all the "twinkling" happening.  I loved these, they are perfect two-coaters, and they sparkle a lot.

Deborah Lippmann Ray of light is an intense blue

The only thing I love about this nail polish is the intensity of the color.  I mean don't get me wrong, this shade of blue is fantastic, but it lacks something, I can't put my finger on it.  Perhaps is the fact that the flakies don't have as much color shift as other flakies I've seen, some of them even look like clear flakies on the nail.  Others don't show through very well.  This is one of those lacquers where I like the concept, but not the excecution.

Candeo Colors Joker is another great topper for purple lovers

This one reminds me of Sonoma Sunset, I'm not sure which one is better.  Both are just great toppers and very dense at one coat.  The major difference I see is that Joker has navy blue glitter in it.  I layered it over another indie, Hare Twilight Savings, because I wasn't too sure if I liked the Hare on its own.  It's a murky shade of purple, and the glitter is plain silver, I wish it was holographic silver instead.  Neverthless, these two make the perfect purple pair,  This is an old manicure.  I hadn't posted this because these were so hard to find, especially the Candeo for me, I had to get it in a swap.  But now things are changing and indies are becoming more and more accesible to us nail polish junkies collectors.  As of today they are both in stock, so that's good to know.  The Hare can be found here and the Candeo here.

Blackheart Black Night is a sheer GITD blue

This one has a nice effect, but it's super sheer.  I am trying to "take off the dust" of some of my GITD (Glow in the Dark) nail polishes, to see what I will wear for Halloween this year.  This might be an option, but I wish it was more saturated with blue.  I don't know how many coats it requires to achieve bottle color, but I sandwiched it with another GITD nail polish from Blue Cross that has glitter.  I like the spooky bottle shape of Blackheart nail polishes, especially in the dark.  This Blackheart can be found in a store called Hot Topic (usually inside malls) and the Blue Cross only in Rite Aids.

Butter London Fishwife

A lovely holographic lacquer saturated with color.  Fishwife, looking gorgeous under the sun, strikes me as a color ahead of its time.  It's a greyed out blue with teal undertones.  If you liked Trustafarian, you will love Fishwife.  This one requires less coats, three instead of four.  Butter London nail lacquers dry super fast, so you don't have to wait in between coats like with other nail polishes.  Another thing that I'm loving about the brand is that lately they are catering to holo lovers like me.  Their holographic nail polishes are 3 free (made without toxic chemicals), unlike other holographics out there, so if this is something you are concerned about, then I highly recommend Butter London.

Models Own Mirrorball Collection - Boogie Nights, Dancing Queen, Hot Stuff, Freak Out! and Disco Inferno

Thanks to an angel from the UK who sent me these (you know who you are!), I am now the happy owner of the Models Own Mirrorball Collection.  I love glitter, but I am new to shredded glitter, so I was a bit scared that I wouldn't like them.  Oh my god, what a relief after I swatched, I loved every single one of these.  They are so strikingly gorgeous.  Boogie Nights is the purple blend, it looks great over lighter colors.  I love the lilac shreds in it, they are super sparkly.  Dancing Queen has blue and green tones, I was initially going to wear it over a green creme, but then I remembered that my friend also sent me a Nails Inc pouch with orange accents, and I wanted to take a picture of it to show my appreciation, so I went for it.  Since they are all glitter toppers in a clear base you can wear them over virtually anything.  Hot Stuff is my favorite, so much so that I changed the background of my blog to it.  I'm pretty sure the name was inspired by that Donna Summer song, it's really catchy, all day long in my head.  This has unexpected holographic gold squares and the color of the pink glitter is just perfection.  I took a video so you can see how awesome it is.  Freak Out is the blue mirrorball in the collection, it has bar glitter, so if you are like me, and love bar glitter, then you will love it.  Disco Inferno is the christmasy one, I absolutely loved this, and will be wearing it again around the holidays for sure.  The gold shreds look like real gold flakies, just stunning in real life.  Overall, great glittery combinations on each of them, I was very surprised at all the details that went into making these lacquers.  The formula requires dabbing and they smell like magic markers, but I honestly didn't care, I mean just look at them.
