Butter London Disco Biscuit

If you like microglitter you need this!  I love this one, especially for sunny days, this is so juicy and girly.  The glitter just gives me more reasons to love it, because the color itself is gorgeous, I don't have anything like it.  This will make a great summer pedicure for sure.  I think the pictures are very color accurate, although in real life you can probably see less of the glitter, since it is tiny.  This is one of the few Butter London nail polishes that definitely needs topcoat.  Since it's almost a Jelly, I did a Jelly sandwich first, that was my first thought, when I received it.

Essie Instant Hot with flowers

Finally the weekend is here, and I have some time to do nail art!  Instant hot is gorgeous, but like all white nail polishes, it is a nightmare to apply.  Nevertheless it's the perfect (not too stark, but bright) white.  I almost wore this on it's own, but then I saw a couple of bald spots here and there after 3 coats and I said "who am I kidding? I am going to add glitter!" so I did... and then came the flowers... even better =)

butter london Lillibet's Jubilee

If you are a nail polish collector like me, or if you work at a salon and have seen your share of chromes/foils you know how hard it is to find one that has a good formula.  What do I mean by "good formula'? it applies easily, it resembles the bottle color, and most importantly, it dries to a perfectly smooth and even finish.  Butter London Lillibet's Jubilee is exactly what I am describing, the perfect chrome foil, no brush marks to be seen, same color than the bottle, and applies like a dream.  The third picture was taken in the shade, where you can see what I mean by smooth finish, because in the shade is where you can really test brush-strokey nail polishes.  I am really in love with this one, it is almost a one coater, and it dries super fast, so it's perfect for traveling or on the go.  I wore it on a sunny day and on a rainy day, and I have to say, it's beautiful on any weather.  After the rain ceased, under the grey sky, my nails looked amazing; hard capture this in pictures, so you'll just have to take my word for it =)

Rescue Beauty Lounge Look Rich Be Cheap, unique green glitter

I received this one as a gift (Thank you K!) and at first, I thought "hmmm, I dislike the name", but I tried it on and now I don't really care anymore about the label.  I do, I shop by name sometimes.  I admit it, if the name sounds good I will buy it; even if my first thought wasn't "do I own this color already?".  That's how I've ended up with duplicates in my collection.

Did Someone say Glitter Bomb?

I recently joined a Facebook group called Polish-Aholics Anonymous, and the moderator posted the theme manicure for monday.  When she said "Glitter Bomb" I was like "I'm so there!".  A Glitter Bomb is basically layering a bunch of glitters and hope it doesn't explode!  ha ha, this literally took 2 hours to dry, but I wore it for two days, so it was worth it :)

Happy Earth Day!

Earth Day is tomorrow, but since I don't post on Sundays I thought I showed you what I did today.  I try to do my best to be green, because I want to leave a happy planet for my grandchildren some day, even if that means compromising a little bit.  I try to stay in the know, about things that are better ecologically.  I wanted to let you know that there is a way to dispose of unwanted (old/dry) nail polishes without harming Mother Earth.  In case you didn't know, once a year, Zoya helps you do just that!  All you do is order any nail polish you want and send in any nail polishes you don't want.  It's very simple, I did it last year, the details are on their Facebook Page.  If you want to sign up for their website click here and go to Register on the top menu.  Then, go to My Coupons/Promos and right away you can redeem a FREE bottle of Zoya Nail Polish!

Incoco Cat's Meow

The gals at Incoco noticed how I love glitter, so they sent me these super sparkly Nail Appliques.  Not only are the colors perfectly coordinated, but the shades included in this design make my nails put together.  It's hards to describe it, but when I wore these , I felt like I just came out of an expensive salon.  I love the glitter in Cat's Meow, very small, and non-gritty.  These were a little bit thin (which makes them look delicate) so the were not so easy to apply.  I had some left overs and I did a pedicure that was TDF.  I am having a lot of fun with Incoco!
