a england Gothic Beauties Collection - Jane Eyre, Ophelia, Dorian Gray, Tess D'Urbervilles and Lady of Shalott

Lovely shimmery collection from a england.  These are perfect to wear under glitters.  In fact, I already wore Dorian Gray with Serum No. 5 Happy Special Day, and I have a couple more layering combinations to show.  Dorian Gray is very different from the others, a gunmetal leaning a little bit to green.  It is very classy, dark in some lights but silvery in others.  The rest are just black with shimmer in different colors: Jane Eyre is red, Ophelia is purple, Tess D'Urbervilles is green and Lady of Shalott is blue.  They all had good formula except for Ophelia, the first time I tried it, it bubbled on me.  I though that maybe I had gotten a bad bottle.  I added thinner and a stainless steel agitator and the second time (shown here) it did not bubble.  It was probably too thick when it arrived.  Speaking of agitators (balls) I found it odd that neither of them came with it >.<  I like these with topcoat, because the shimmer gets kind of revived, but there are a lot of swatches out there with topcoat, and I wanted to show them as they are without it.  They have an interesting finish, on their own, almost matte.  Aside from Dorian Gray, my favorite is Lady of Shalott, I think it's the one that has more shimmer, or at least it is more noticeable with this one.  This is a great collection for Fall, especially if you like dark colors, or if you are looking for black nail polishes that are not just plain black, this will definitely spice it up.

  1. nice! I really like every colour in this collection, but I find them all to be too similar to really have one stand out to me, but my favourite would have to be Tess D'Urbervilles. Your swatches are perfect!!
