Literary Lacquers Midsummer Night's Dream Collection

My first thought after swatching this collection was: "Wow, this was a well-thought out collection, not just glitters thrown in some suspension base".  I think that pretty much sums it up, but let's go through one by one in the order they are posted.  If you missed my sneak peak post, please click here so that the whole "hex/no hex version" thing makes more sense.  An Honest Puck (big hex version) is a brown with sparkly gold action, the gold really shines through, yet it does not compete with the brown.  It has both green squares and hexagons to give it more dimension.  Proud Titania is an ethereal blend of shimmery silver with small silver glitter and holographic rhombus/diamond shaped glitter.  Jealous Oberon is the gold counterpart of Proud Titania, this one has holographic squares instead.  The base is a beautiful, refined shade of gold.  The Course of True Love is one of those that you have to see in real life to appreciate, the color looks red in some lights and pink in others.  It has tons of shimmer.  My pictures definitely don't show the depth it has, this one is simply stunning.  It also has lovely sparse red hearts.  Midsummer Night's Dream is pure blue goodness, this one is for blue lovers.  Love-In-Idleness (big hex version) was one of my favorites, it can be a two-coater, but the color builds up really well at three.  I have swatched it here at two coats, but on the previous post I included a swatch at three coats.  Refer to the pictures in the shade, where you can see the tiny bar glitter.  The dark purple squares in it are reminiscent of Love My Nails All That, plus it has the most amazing iridescent blue squares that are similar to the ones in Deborah Lippmann Stairway to Heaven; two of my favorite nail polishes combined, but better.  What Fools These Mortals Be! was my favorite, the only glitter topper in the collection.  It has so much going on, but in a good way.  Two types of small lavender glitters, holographic microglitter, black squares, medium pale green hexagons and tons of big light blue hexagonal pieces that lay perfectly flat on the nail.  They are all amazing, and perfect two-coaters (except for the glitter topper, What Fools These Mortals Be, 4 coats).  There is so much more I could say, but the post is getting long, and I know you want to see the pictures now.  Launch day for this collection is tomorrow, Saturday, 22nd at 12:00 p.m. MST.  Click here to like Literary Lacquers on Facebook and stay in the know about restocks.
