Guest Blogger of the Month - March 2012: Laura's Lacquers

I'm thrilled to have Laura here, she is an amazing blogger.  She delivers great nail polish swatches and witty conversations.  Her positive attitude, her passion for nail polish and her enthusiasm make for a great combination, which is why I visit her blog every day.  Plus her nails are gorgeous and she's a fan of glitter like me.  I have followed her blog since she started, and she followed mine from the beginning as well.  I am really excited that she's part of the Blogger of the Month series here at Sparkly Vernis, because writers like her inspire me.  She is one of those bloggers who really likes what she does, and you can tell.  One of the things I love about her, is that she likes to engage with her readers, not only does she reply to every single comment, but she constantly asks them for feedback, to make sure that they're happy too! and her blog is ultimately all about what her readers want.  This is what she brought for us:

"Hi everyone! My name is Laura and I'm really excited to be doing this because it's my first guest post EVER. Alexandra is super awesome and I'm so thankful that she invited me to write a post for her and she trusted me not to bore people to death. I can get a little rambly at times but I just have a lot of thoughts.

Aaaanyway, Alexandra has a talent with glitter and layering, so I wanted to incorporate all of these things into one post for maximum epicness, since I love all those things too! I'm pretty proud of the result.

I really love this one, it looked extremely cool in real life. I once saw someone do black stamping over a glitter mani and they said it made the black look kind of like velvet, and I understand what they mean. It's a really great effect! Sugar Plum Fairy has so many colors of glitter, there's light purple, dark purple, holo, I think even some green and gold bits too. Oh if only you could have seen how she sparkled in the sun...

But I digress. I hope you enjoyed my meager offerings today, and I once again thank Alexandra for being a lovely hostess. Adieu!"

Layering order:
Nail Tek Foundation II base coat
2 coats of Essence Forget Me Not
1 coat of Color Club Sugar Plum Fairy
stamping with Wet n' Wild Black Creme
