Comparison Week: Funky Fingers Power Play vs. American Apparel Neon Violet

1. Funky Fingers Power Play
2. American Apparel Neon Violet

(2 coats each plus Barielle Manicure Extender Topcoat)

I.C.: They are very similar, and the neon effect is strong on both.  American Apparel is a bit darker and it is opaque at 2 coats, while Funky Fingers looks like a jelly at 2 coats, and it might need 3 coats to be completely opaque.

  1. Great comparison! :D These are really hot colors! I love neons! If you happen to have the blue neon polish from American Apparel I'd love to know if it's a dupe or similar to other shades (like Color Club Chelsea Girl/Funky Fingers 220 Volts, Milani Dude Blue, etc.). I was really tempted to get the blue neon from American Apparel but I was worried about dupes.

  2. Hi thanks! I don't own that one, it might have a dupe made by the same company (Forsythe).
